CMI Marathon: GOB, GLMDF and COMAB

Last Thursday afternoon, the Executive Secretary of the CMI, Geraldo Macedo, was in Brasilia, the Federal Capital of Brazil, accompanied by the Director General of the CMI, Rubens Franz, on a fraternal visit to the headquarters of the of the GOB – Grand Orient of Brazil. The visit was guided by the Grand Secretary of Foreign Masonic Relations of the GOB, Lucas Galdeano, who, on behalf of his Grand Master, Múcio Bonifácio, presented the rooms of the so-called Jair Assis Ribeiro Masonic Palace, and made all its structure available of the CMI.

In the late afternoon, the visit was at GLMDF – Masonic Grand Lodge of the Federal District of Brazil, where they were welcomed by its Most Worshipful Grand Master, Armando Assumpção.

And at night, still at the GLMDF headquarters, the Executive Secretary and the General Director of the CMI were accompanied by the President of the Information and Recognition Committee of the CMI, Cassiano de Morais; and the President of Zone 5 of the CMI and Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Paraná, Cristian Flores, in a meeting with COMAB leaders: the President of COMAB and Grand Master of the Amazonian Grand Orient, Paulo Orrutia; and the Treasurer of COMAB and Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Santa Catarina, Sérgio Wallner.

Through these meetings, the CMI has shared its work and projects, as well as its contribution to the maintenance and improvement of institutional relations between the entities that make up Brazilian Regular Freemasonry.
