The Inter-American Masonic Confederation – CMI, through its Executive Secretary, Geraldo Macedo, between the 14th and 16th of September of this year 2023, was present in two of its 100 confederate grand bodies: the Grand Lodge of the State of Roraima , in the North of Brazil, and the Gran Logia de la República de Venezuela.

On the 14th, at the headquarters of the Grand Lodge of the State of Roraima, in Boa Vista, capital of that State, Brother Geraldo Macedo gave a lecture in a session attended by more than 80 freemasons, including a delegation from lodges in the Grand Orient of Brazil.

On the 15th, in the city of Santa Elena de Uairén, Venezuela, our Executive Secretary participated in the opening of the VI Binational Masonic Meeting Brazil-Venezuela, hosted by the “Estrella del Roraima” Lodge #188, from the Gran Logia de la República de Venezuela. The Meeting was attended by the two Grand Masters, Hugo Camargo (Roraima) and José Gregorio Sardelli Bravo (Venezuela).

And on the 16th, during the General Assembly of the Gran Logia de la República de Venezuela, Brother Geraldo Macedo received, from the hands of Grand Master José Sardelli, the title of Grand Master of Honor of that Grand Lodge. The Assembly was followed by a Masonic seminar, which saw the massive participation of the Brothers.

Our congratulations on the efforts of these two Grand Lodges in building bridges for the good of society in general and Freemasonry in particular, showing that we are a single Freemasonry, even with different languages, cultures, histories and organizations, which do not distance us, but enrich us.
