On February 23, the Executive Secretary of the CMI, Geraldo Macedo, traveled to Caracas, capital of Venezuela, fulfilling an extensive agenda of Masonic commitments. On the morning of February 24, he visited the Federal Legislative Palace; and in the afternoon, he gave a lecture on the CMI to the High Administration of the Grand Lodge of Venezuela.
On the following day, February 25, in the morning, the Executive Secretary participated in the public ceremony of floral offering in the mausoleum of the liberator and Freemason, Simón Bolívar. In the afternoon, Brother Geraldo attended the inauguration ceremony of Brother Jose Gregorio Sardelli Bravo, reappointed to the post of Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Venezuela.
Still, after taking office, Brother Geraldo had the opportunity to speak to all the freemasons present about the CMI, its history, objectives, programs and projects.
The Grand Lodge of Venezuela is the current seat of the presidency of Zone 4 of the CMI, which brings together the Grand Lodges of Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. The CMI is grateful for the hospitality of the Venezuelan brothers, especially its Grand Master, Jose Gregorio.
