The CMI Executive Secretary, Geraldo Macedo, was present in Salvador, capital of the State of Bahia, in Brazil, on February 04, 2023, participating in another CMI Regional Integration Seminar, hosted by the Grand Orient of Bahia in partnership with the Masonic Grand Lodge of the State of Bahia.
The event, which took place in the morning, had delegations from all over Brazil, as well as Paraguay and Bolivia. On the occasion, Brother Geraldo Macedo was named ambassador of the Shriners for South America and the 33rd anniversary of the Grand Orient of Bahia was also celebrated.
During the night, the Executive Secretary was already in Natal, capital of the State of Rio Grande do Norte, where he attended the inauguration ceremony of the Most Worshipful Brother Robert Hook, re-elected Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. The event had entourages from 16 Grand Lodges.
The CMI congratulates Freemasonry in Northeast Brazil for its strength in benefit of the union and development of Freemasonry.
