Last Saturday, August 28, in the morning, the Executive Secretary of the CMI, Geraldo Macedo, was one of the special guests to speak at the Seminar “Freemasonry without Borders”, organized by GLMDF – Masonic Grand Lodge of the Federal District (Brazil). On the occasion, he gave a lecture about CMI, its history, objectives, functioning and future projects.
The event was attended by several Grand Masters of confederated Grand Lodges to the CMI, such as the one from the GLMDF itself, Armando Assumpção; the Grand Lodge of the State of Goiás, Tito Souza do Amaral; the Grand Lodge of the State of Mato Grosso, Eleusino Ataíde Passos; the Grand Lodge of Amazonas, Marcelo Barbosa Peixoto; the Grand Orient of Bahia, Cassiano Moreno; in addition to the General Secretary of CMSB, Aldino Brasil; and the Deputy Grand Master of the Symbolic Grand Lodge of Paraguay, Ronald González Sánchez.
In the evening, the Executive Secretary participated in a Table Lodge at “Cruzeiro do Sul” Lodge, when he received the “Deusdedith Moraes de Lemo” Medal, the highest honor given by that Blue Lodge.
These were opportunities for fraternization and dialogue with some of the confederates to the CMI, maintaining this close and fraternal relationship with an always open communication channel, which is a commitment of the entire Executive Secretariat in the current administration.
