Masonic Lives was an initiative of freemasons of different Grand Bodies, in different jurisdictions, to provide “quality Masonic education” through virtual media. With a program involving nationally and internationally renowned Masonic personalities, the lectures and debates promoted have reached tens of thousands of freemasons in Brazil and abroad.

For the Week that involves Freemason’s Day in Brazil, August 20, the group Masonic Lives has programmed the Freemasons´ Virtual Week, featuring six lectures, three from Brazilian Masonic authorities and three from foreign Masonic authorities, ending the week with a live acoustic show.

The Executive Secretary of the CMI, Geraldo Macedo, had the honor of being the guest speaker at the opening of the Freemasons’ Virtual Week, giving a lecture entitled “Freemasonry in the Third Millennium”, which took place on the night of August 16th.

On the 17th, Cristian Flores, Grand Master of the Grande Oriente do Paraná and Vice-President of the 5th Zone of CMI. Then, on the 18th, Armindo Azevedo, Grand Master of the Grande Loja Legal de Portugal and Vice-President of the 6th Zone of CMI. On the 19th it will be the turn of Oscar de Alfonso, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Spain and Former President of the CMI. Lectures are completed with David Harrison of the United Grand Lodge of England on the 20th; and Vanderlei Geraldo de Assis, Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Minas Gerais, on the 21st.

As can be seen, the CMI has been highlighted in the Brazilian and international Masonic scene, legitimately occupying spaces related to the exchange of knowledge and Masonic experiences that benefit freemasons, lodges and Grand Lodges, whether they are confederated to the CMI or not.
